2012 Continued Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation (Ireland)
This multi-disciplinary conference brings together best practice and expertise from all agencies, professionals, practitioners and advocates responding to rape.
Applications for CPD Accreditation have been made to the following professional bodies in advance of the seminar and conference:
Royal College of Physicians of Ireland - 12 CPD credits approved
Irish College of General Practitioners - 12 CPD credits approved
The College of Psychiatry of Ireland - The College of Psychiatry of Ireland recommend that individual Psychiatrists should send their ICSoR Certificate of Attendance to mona@irishpsychiatry.ie who will issue them with an External CPD Certificate for relevant academic sessions attended.
An Bord Altranais (Nursing Board) -12 ABA CEUs (Course Grouping 1 & 9)
The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy - The IAHIP provide details of CPD requirements for members which are available to view by clicking on the following link. IAHIP members who attend our conference will receive an ICSoR Certificate of Attendance which can then be submitted to the IAHIP for consideration of CPD approval.
Irish Council for Psychotherapy:
The Family Therapy Association of Ireland will award a maximum of 15 CPD points for the entire conference. This can also be broken down as follows:
Seminar Day 1 5 CPD points
Conference Day 1 7 CPD points
Conference Day 2 7 CPD points
Or a total of 15 CPD points for a delegate who attends the entire conference.
For members of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Framework and guidelines are available here. IACP members who attend our conference will receive an ICSoR Certificate of Attendance which can then be submitted to the IACP for consideration of CPD approval.
For members of the Law Society or the Bar Council, potential attendees must refer to the conference content ensuring that the themes of the event meet with your Institutes guidelines for CPD accreditation. For more information on conference themes please click here.
All conference and seminar participants will receive a certificate of attendance, in-line with the guidelines set out by your professional body or Institute, and a register of attendance will be taken each day.
